Practical and Clinical Programs

Learning through experience

Manual osteopathy cannot be mastered through books or video demonstration alone. Hands-on learning, under skilled supervision, is essential. That’s why our in-person practical training is at the heart of the program.

Spanning 2 years, the practical portion includes seven (7) modules per year, each taking place one day per week over a period of four to six weeks, depending on the topic. These sessions take place in real clinical environments with live patients and experienced faculty.

Through this training, students learn to:

Assess and palpate tissues with skill and intention. Using osteopathic concepts and reasoning to guide effective care.

Evaluate and support different systems of the body. Assess and treat multiple systems with a the vision of homeostasis.

Develop confidence through repeated, supervised practice. Build skill and confidence through guided, hands-on practice with real patients and consistent repetition.
